Patañjali, having abandoned his previous form, incarnates in this world,
in the form of a dangerous venomous snake with many heads, beautifully ringed,
bestowing abundant blessings, destroying the mass of afflictions,
bringing forth all knowledge,
accompanied by an entourage of snakes that are eternally beloved to him.
May he protect you, the Lord of the snakes,
whose body is pure white and spotless,
transmitting yoga, absorbed in yoga.
