Zoë Slatoff

Zoë discovered yoga at the age of 15 and has been devoted to a daily practice ever since. Since 2000, she has travelled to Mysore almost every year to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, R. Sharath and Saraswathi. She is honored to have received Guruji's blessing to teach in 2002. In 2009 she received Authorization Level 2.

Zoë has a Master's Degree in South Asian Language and Culture from Columbia University. Her master's thesis was a translation and exploration of a Sanskrit text on Yoga and Ayurveda.

She is tremendously grateful to her teachers, family and friends for their inspiration and guidance.




Lorrie Dirkse

Lorrie has been practicing yoga since 2000. She studied ashtanga yoga in Mysore for several months with Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois in 2004. She returned to India in 2005 and received her 200-hour certification from Sivananda. She also apprenticed with Zoë for nearly two years in the Mysore room. She currently teaches led classes in NYC.




Dana Rose DeFrancesco

A native of Pittsburgh, Dana has a 200-hour Vinyasa yoga certification along with a kids pre-K to high school YogaEd certification. Over the past twleve years she has taught kids yoga at private schools, public schools, yoga studios, special events and dance schools. From a young age she has studied and practiced yoga. Dana loves bringing the joy of yoga to kids, creating a foundation for a harmonious life. She guides her students to a place of strength, flexibility and balance building self esteem and encouraging prosocial beahviour. She creates a safe atmosphere to explore, learn and have fun.




Laura Ritter

Laura began to practice hatha yoga with her mother when she was ten years old. She found ashtanga in 2005 while living in Olympia, WA. In 2009 she had the opportunity to study with R. Sharath and Saraswathi at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. Laura completed her 200-hour yoga certification with the International Schools of East-West Unity at the Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY. In 2009, she received a 100-hour certification in yoga and ayurveda from the Santosh Puri Ashram in Haridwar. Laura has a master's degree in environmental studies from the Evergreen State College. Prior to earning this degree, she spent two years in Ghana as a public health educator directing regional drama clubs with women's and youth groups.
