Sunday, Aug. 18th - Friday Aug. 23rd
Have you ever wished you could do your yoga practice and then study yoga philosophy and Sanskrit during the day? Here is your chance! Each day will include morning Mysore class, yoga philosophy - chanting and discussion, and Sanskrit study.
Join Zoë in Guanacaste, Costa Rica from July 20-27, 2019 for a magical week of Mysore practice, Sanskrit, chanting and philosophy and, of course, plenty of time on the beach!
I am honored and excited to be teaching daily Sanskrit / Yoga Philosophy Classes as part of a 100 hour Teacher Training led by my old friends and long time Ashtanga yoga practitioners and teachers, Mark and Joanne Darby, in a beautiful retreat setting in Costa Rica.
Sunday, January 7th, 12-1PM
The Ādityahṛdayam, “the heart of the Sun,” is a chant to the Sun God, from the Yuddha Kāṇḍa (6th book) of the Rāmāyaṇa. It can be chanted before practice in order to gather the energy and vitality of the sun. In this workshop we will chant this auspicious mantra, discuss its meaning and invoke the courage to face our own obstacles and fears.
All are welcome!
