At Ashtanga Yoga Upper West Side, we offer a warm and nurturing space for Ashtanga yoga practice. Students of all levels are taught together, at their own pace, with one-on-one guidance. All are welcome, whatever their age or experience.

We teach in the traditional Mysore style of Śrī K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath, as learned from them in Mysore, India. At our shala (the traditional name for a practice room), ancient texts are brought to life. Zoë Slatoff has been teaching yoga for almost 20 years, integrating her passion for studying Sanskrit and Indian philosophy into daily practice.
